Everyday we sell tuck at the beginning of school. Lately we haven’t been selling much so we thought we’d tell you about what we have and why tuck is good.
You can buy:
* biscuits
* a range of fruit – bananas, apples, oranges, raisins, pineapple and melon
* yoghurts
* cheese strings
The items vary in price starting at 10p.
Having a healthy snack at playtime provides us with lots of energy to help make our great brains work. If you buy tuck it helps the school to raise money to buy new things for our classes and our playground.
We hope to see more of you at tuck shop.

The Junior Road Safety Officers came to our class to teach us how to cross the road safely. Ava said, Emma was good at teaching her to stay safe on the road. Natalie said, it was fun learning to cross the road. Abigail said the JRSOs taught us to put our feet behind the kerb and Cate said we must look both ways to check for cars. We held hands and crossed the road when it was safe. Stephanie said we put on bright jackets so we can been seen by cars when it is dark. Luca learnt he can cross the road on his own when he is 11 years old. Louisa said we need to keep safe and Emma helped us to cross the road. Angeline helped Scot, Szymon and Alasdair to cross the road. Taylor helped Natalie, Poppy-Grace, Luca and Adam. Emma helped Ava, John and Sam. We enjoyed learning how to cross the road safely. Thank you to the JRSOs!

We were delighted to welcome our friends Peter Kain and Hugh Robertson from the Harthill, Eastfield and Greenrigg windfarm group who kindly presented us with a cheque for £3000. We are looking forward to extending our Trim Trail with this money. Peter and Hugh then came to Assembly on the 9th October and told us all about the work that the group are doing to help our communities.
