To finish off our P6 focus week all the P6 pupils and Carla from P7 spent the morning at Polkemmet Country Park. It was a clear and bright day but very cold and frosty so we had to wrap up warm. Our main part of the morning was spent building dens. We had to be creative in using the materials that we could find which were things like logs, branches and leaves. We had to use existing trees to help us to create our dens. We worked in our groups to collect materials and then find ways to assemble them to make a den like structure. The success we had varied but we all worked together and had lots of fun. We then got to finish off the morning with a play in the play park which was also great fun.
