Thank you to all parents and guardians who were able to come into school today for our Book Bag gifting event. We hope you enjoyed being in class with the children and sharing the books with them. For parents who could not make it along, please have a look through the bag with your child and remember to vote for your favourite using the free post voting slip! The children enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and talking about their favourite books today. They had the chance to explore some new books that they have never seen or heard before. The Book Bags are Part of a new Scottish Government initiative called Read Write Count and the aim is to encourage parental involvement in children’s reading, writing and counting.
