Dear Parents/Carers
For our class project, we are going to be designing and building our own model homes. For this we will need lots of different shapes and sizes of boxes and cardboard. Please help us to collect these by sending in any boxes you may have with your child to school. We will be posting pictures on our blog so you can see how we are getting on with our designs and building our models.
Thanks in advance for your help with this project.

Curriculum Evening in P2
Thank you to everyone who came to see all the good work we are doing in P2. The children really enjoyed showing their mums, brothers and sisters our classroom and sharing their learning with them.
Pancake Day AM in the Nursery
P2 are learning the 2, 10, 5 times tables.
We are having fun learning the 2, 10, 5 times tables. We have lots of activities in class to support our learning.
Pancake Day in the Nursery
Children had great fun making pancakes today. Children followed a recipe, measured ingredients, learned about keeping clean  and then got to try their pancakes. We watched the Runaway Pancake story and discussed the similarities and differences between our story and the Gingerbread man.
Angles in P6/5
In Maths, we have been learning all about angles. Â There are different types of angles.
An acute angle is less than 90 degrees.
A right angle is 90 degrees.
An obtuse is more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees.
A straight line is 180 degrees.
A reflex angle is more than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees.
Today we went outside to draw and measure different angles. We used a protractor, ruler and some chalk. First we drew a horizontal or vertical line. We then lined up our protractor on the 0 line and lined up the circle with the line. We then choose what angle we wanted to draw and made a mark. Finally we then drew a line through that mark.
We made lots of different types of angles.
” I liked this because it was a different way to draw angles” – Eeman
” I liked doing this as we worked in pairs and checked other people’s angles to see if they were correct” – Carla
