We have great fun at our Christmas Party. Santa gave each of us a present. He also gave us a letter in reply to the letters we sent him. Kayla said she liked the dancing. Stephanie liked seeing Santa. Scot liked the dancing too!

Christmas Crafts
We had fun with Isobel our parent helper making Christmas mosaic. Thank you Isobel for all your help this year. 
Christmas Dinner
We enjoyed the Christmas dinner served to use by the staff. Abigail and Aiden said it was tasty, yum yum!
Choir days out
The Choir have been out and about raising money. We visited Harthill Senior Citizen Centre last Thursday where we spread some Christmas cheer. We would like to thank them for their generous donation and presents for the children. Yesterday, we made our annual visit to Tesco. We received a warm reception and would like to thank Tesco once again for supporting the school. We would also like to thank all
the friends and family who came along to support the children.
Ukulele – Last Christmas
The boys and girls in Primary 5/4 and 6/5 have been learning ‘Last Christmas’ on the ukulele. They performed it today as part of the Christmas Service which was very successful. If you couldn’t make it along here is a video of the classes practising!IMG_1359b
Christmas Nativity
The nursery boys and girls took part in their Nativity performance on Thursday the 17th December. They were fantastic!
Beautiful singing voices, great acting and everyone was well behaved.
Well done boys and girls 🙂
primary 5/4 news
We have been playing a new game called Make a Monty. Have a go at home by challenging someone in your family or a friend. You will need a dice and some paper and pens, remember you have to roll in order, so you can not start the drawing unless you roll a 1, next you are looking to roll a 2 and then a 3, 4, 5 and finally a 6.
We also have enjoyed developing our Sudoku skills. here is an online game where you can try a 4×4 grid then a 9×9 grid for the experts.

Mrs Cochrane making Christmas crafts
We have been making marzipan fruit with our parent helper Mrs Cochrane. This activity develops our fine motor skills and is lots of fun too! We would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Cochrane for all her hard work this year. 
Pupils v Adults Football
A massive thank you to our wonderful parents who came along to our final football club. Your support was very welcome and we all had a great time. There were some very close scores and tough competition.
Thank you for our spectators and a big thank you to Robert Marshall, Brain Laing, Colin Rogerson, Kirsty Cunningham and Kevin Buntin for playing football with the pupils.

Christmas
We went to see Ralph the Reindeer on Monday, well done P1-P3 the show was fantastic! We came back to nursery singing lots of Christmas songs.
Everyone has enjoyed dressing up in Santa’s Grotto and making Christmas decorations.
We are still working hard learning our songs for our Nativity on Wednesday, we had a dress rehearsal on Thursday. Jacob is brilliant at singing ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ and he has a solo in the Nativity!
