Primary 1 and 2 Remote Learning

Good morning Primary 1 and 2!

We hope you all had a lovely, restful break and wish you all a Happy New Year! 🙂

We are starting this year in a different way but we hope we can continue to make learning exciting for everyone! We have attached a suggested daily routine that you may wish to follow but please do what is best for you and your family.

Suggested Daily Routine

Each day will start with a check in with your online teachers for the week. They will outline your timetable for the day and provide you with some fun activities that you may wish to complete. Our first task every day will be to take part in some physical activity between 9am and 9.30am. This can include going for a walk or taking part in some of the fun suggestions that may be posted on twitter that day! Your online teachers will be available on Seesaw throughout the school day and will provide you with feedback on your work.

What will our learning look like?

All of your child’s remote learning will be posted on Seesaw and we will also be posting a weekly learning grid on our school blog every Monday Morning. Every week your child will be able to engage and communicate with a class teacher via Seesaw.

Your child will receive a literacy and numeracy task every day on Seesaw, these tasks have been prepared especially for your child. We will also be encouraging you to complete some of the tasks from our weekly learning grid. Click on the link below to see our learning grid for this week:

Week 1 Remote Learning

This week Miss Arkless and Miss Cushley will be looking after our Primary 1 and 2 children on Seesaw. They will be able to help you with any questions that  you may have so please don’t hesitate to send us a message!

We understand that for some this may be a very new way of learning so we would encourage you to contact us via Seesaw or by contacting the school directly if you have any queries or concerns!

We hope you all have a great week! 🙂
