Nativity Primary 1 and 2 – Everyone Loves a Baby

In class your child is beginning to learn the songs for the Nativity. This year we will be performing “Everyone Loves a Baby.”

The Nativity will be taking place on the 11^th and 12^th of December. Information about tickets will be issued at a later date.

We would appreciate your support in learning the songs at home. We are cutting back on photocopies and are trying to be eco-friendly so we will not be giving out paper copies of the words this year. Instead you can find the songs on the following link

As part of Early Level Number Week, P1P and P1R enjoyed playing number games outside. We practised our adding skills to 10 and adding three numbers and then ran to the answer in the playground. We had lots of fun!

A big thank you to all of the parent volunteers who came to nursery and primary one to share their experiences of using number in their work as part of our Developing the Young Workforce Early Level Number Week. The children enjoyed learning about pilots, doctors, nurses, nutritionists, pharmacists and mummies!

P1R have been enjoying learning about number stories- the different ways to ‘make’ a quantity using addition. We have been working as a team to find all of the ways using our ladybirds to help us.
