In class your child is beginning to learn the songs for the Nativity. This year we will be performing “Everyone Loves a Baby.”
The Nativity will be taking place on the 11th and 12th of December. Information about tickets will be issued at a later date.
We would appreciate your support in learning the songs at home. We are cutting back on photocopies and are trying to be eco-friendly so we will not be giving out paper copies of the words this year. Instead you can find the songs on the following link
We had a great time on our trip to Balmaha, Loch Lomond, where we enjoyed lots of activities in the outdoors. We got to meet the Park Rangers and enjoyed going on a bug hunt, nature walk and doing Art in nature!
For our final week of Forest school we went on a Easter Hunt in the forest. There were lots of Easter eggs hidden around the Forest! Inside the easter eggs there were Wild flower seeds which we then planted. We hope to watch our wildflower garden grow over the next few months.
We listened to the birds singing and made our own #promisesfortheplanet following all of our learning over the past few weeks about how we can look after our world.
” My promise is to reduce the amount of plastic packaging that I buy” Miss Hutton
” I will tell people to not cut down trees as they help us breath” Naomi
We loved sharing our books with everyone! Thank you to everyone who came for our Book Launch. We enjoyed reading our stories and showing our super jungle illustrations.
Well done to Summer who has written her own Jungle book at home, writing about how we can look after the Jungle which we have been exploring in Forest school. A fantastic book Summer and thank you for sharing it with us!
