Children’s Christmas Fete Friday 2nd December 2016 from 3:30pm- 6:00pm
The PTA are excited to announce that they will be hosting a Children’s Christmas Fete on Friday the 2nd of December from 3.30pm – 6.00pm at Braehead Primary.
An Information and Donation Station will available on both Parents Evenings.
The PTA would be delighted if you could donate toys and games for the Toy Tombola.
Bottles for the Bottle Tombola (From ketchup to shampoo…anything in a bottle!) would also be great too. We would also be grateful for donations to the Secret Present Room
In the Secret Present room the Children can select a gift and get it wrapped by the PTA, so any small gifts would be welcomed. On the morning of the Fete we would like to ask if the children can bring in a small gift from home that is not needed in exchange for wearing a Christmas Jumper, tinsel, or Santa hat. These will go in the Secret Present room to increase the selection for the children. We also hope it will be a great way to get into the Christmas festive fete sprit!

Christmas Nativity 2016-2017
Primary 1 have started rehearsing songs for their Christmas Nativity play. Unfortunately, due to copyright limitations, we cannot provide you with the music but we can provide you with a link to the lyrics. The pupils are becoming increasingly familiar with the melodies but need some extra support with reading/learning the words. We would be grateful if you could encourage your child to practice the song words as much as possible at home. Many thanks for your support.
P5 Active Stirling Athletics Festival
Congratulations to the pupils from Primary 5 Who finished 2nd in the Bannockburn Learning Community Athletics Festival! They had a great time and really impressed with their performances and sportsmanship.
PTA Christmas Card Ordering Process Update.
Art Projects have informed us that their online shop is being replaced by their traditional offline ordering system. So now all NEW orders or orders which have still to be paid for will have to be completed using a paper order form. The paper forms should arrive shortly. The School will pass any new orders on to the PTA. Can we request that all orders are settled in CASH only. All new orders and artwork must be submitted by Tuesday the 8th of November 2016.

Dear Parents,
We would like to invite you to an information evening that we are hosting at the school on the 8th November from 6pm-7pm. This event is open to all families of Braehead as it is a subject matter that resonates with many. Educational Psychologist Karen Scott will be talking about managing children’s anxiety.
The session will provide useful approaches and strategies to use at home.
