Update to end of day arrangements
Dear Parent/Carer,
In order to ease congestion in the playground at the end of the school day, the direction of the one way system will be reversed.
From Wednesday 30th September, the only entry between 2.45pm and 3pm, will be via the gate at the back playground. The one ways system will operate in reverse at this time, with exits via the Torhead Gate or the MUGA Pitch Gate.
This has been changed to reduce congestion, in particular around the bottom of the stairs where the playground narrows.
Please see the attached document for a map of the entry/exit points.
Arrangements for entry to school/nursery will remain unchanged.
Please continue to adhere to the following rules when entering the school playground:
• Wherever possible, allow pupils to walk to school by themselves to reduce the amount of adults in the playground.
•Arrive after the gate are open to avoid queuing
•Maintain at least 2m distance from all other households.
•For nursery drop-off/collection, please arrive at the designated time for the pod.
