Here are your task suggestions for the week:
This week I thought I would try something a little different. Below are some revision pages that I have made into a Chilli Challenge. Choose one to complete this week (if you do more than one that’s okay too). Please choose which one you feel more comfortable doing. Don’t choose the ‘Mild’ work if it is going to be too easy for you or the ‘Hot’ work if its going to be too tricky! Just do your best 🙂
Here is an extra task for each group (again, a bit of revision):

Pens: Pens Comprehension 18.5.20
Pencils: Pencils Comprehension 18.5.20
Rulers: Rulers Comprehension 18.5.20
Crayons: Crayons Comprehension 18.5.20
Red: (t) future, mixture, nature, creature, capture, signature, adventure.
Blue: Consolidation of recent weeks words – catch, match, wrap, write, bread, head, wash, warm, then, these.
Green: Common words and consolidation this week – green, people, which, another, lamb, dumb, knight, kneel, knee, different, off.

Just a reminder that Friday (22.5.20) and Monday (25.5.20) are holidays so I will post a check in on Wednesday this week to give you all the same amount of time to check-in with myself and your classmates!

Can you choose one of these story settings and write a paragraph describing it. Remember to include VCOP to up level your writing. You could use descriptions of your senses to also make it more interesting to the reader – what you could you see, hear feel? You can send a picture of your stories to the school photos email.

Good morning everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and managed to relax a little. Thank you for some of your positive quotes that you sent to me. They were all fantastic and I found it very tricky to choose a favourite. So instead we have “Room 8’s Page of positivity!”
You can look back at this any time you feel you need some positivity! I am going to stick this on my wall so I can do the same thing.
Here are your tasks for this week. As previously mentioned, these are suggestions and you do not have to complete all of them. Just try your best and do what you can!

I have been seeing all the great photos you have been sending to the school photos email! They are fantastic and it looks like you are doing lots of fun activities at home. Please remember I am unable to post photos with any faces in them but I have loved seeing them all. Here are a few great examples of what some of the children in Room 8 have been up to!
