Hi everyone,
Just to let you know that there is another great article in this week’s Rutherglen Reformer, this time about the school show, ‘The Spirit of Christmas.’ It’s on p18.
See you on Monday!
Happy New Year and Best Wishes to all of the pupils, families and staff in the Hallside Primary community!
Hi everyone,
I hope you had a fantastic Christmas Day yesterday and Santa brought everything you hoped for!
Just thought I’d let you know that there is a brilliant article on our Charity CD on p4 of this week’s Rutherglen Reformer that came out today.
Enjoy the rest of Boxing Day! I’m off to play FIFA 13!
Merry Christmas everyone. See you next year!!!
Thank you to everyone who ordered a copy of The Hallside Charity Christmas Single 2012. It has been a great success. I’m sure you’ll agree that they are very professional looking and wouldn’t look out of place on the shelves of a high street music shop! Well done to Ellie Stewart in P3 who won the competition to design the cover.
I hope you all like them (everyone I know is getting one for Christmas this year!). It’s a great thing to keep. I’d love to hear your comments – post them here at the blog.
We raised an amazing £572, and we have sent it to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. You should all feel very proud of yourselves. Look out for a report on it in the Rutherglen Reformer over the Christmas Holidays.
Merry Christmas,
Mr B
Remember everyone it’s a 2:30pm finish tomorrow.
Remember to get your orders in for the Hallside Charity Christmas Single by Friday to guarantee a copy. The radio team played it during their show on Monday and it was very well received. It will be a great memory, fabulous Christmas gift and, of course, will hopefully raise a good amount of money for The Salvation Army to help struggling families and the homeless at Christmas this year.
I have been round to hear lots of classes singing their songs for next week – I’ve heard Let it Snow, Sleigh Ride, Santa Bring Me a Dinosaur, I have a Dream, Do they Know It’s Christmas, Oh Happy Day and Oh Holy Night. They are all starting to sound really good. Keep up all the good work and rehearsing any time you get a spare moment (and a room to rehearse in of course!).
On Friday we’ll get the chance to have a go on the stage with all the mics and lights etc. Then we’ll have full dress rehearsal on Monday.
Can’t wait for the first performance of the P1 nativity, Hey Ewe, tomorrow. Nothing gets you in the mood for Christmas like the p1 nativity.
