Abbie Powell pictured here with her medals and trophy won at her recent Spectrum Gymnastics competition.  This was her first competition.

She won:

Gold Medal – For Partnership (with Abbie being the Top – the person thrown in the air!)

Silver Medal – For Partnership (with Abbie being the Base – the person doing the throwing!)

Trophy – Individual Award – for most improved gymnast 2013

Back from the Great Scottish Run family events today, where Jamie, Jude and I did the family mile after Jamie completed the Junior Run.

I met, and got my picture taken with, Team Cahill!

Arran Kelly (P5) with his haul of football trophies, including one for most improved player after his move from being a defender to playing up front.  In his new role as a striker he has now scored 101 goals for his team, Cambuslang FC.

Greg McPartlin (P5) and Trinity McPartlin (P1) found some lost frogs in their garden and after some tender loving care here they are on the way to the burn after school to release them back into their more natural habitat.
