Back to School

Well, it’s back to school for everyone tomorrow (Wed 14th Aug).

Excited?

Looking forward to seeing you all and hearing all about your summer adventures.

Can’t wait to see all our new P1s who are starting at 9.30 tomorrow.

Good luck to any of our former P7s who are starting S1 and checking into the blog.

Let the fun begin!

Summer Time

Well everyone, it’s summer time and it’s time for everyone to recharge their batteries.  I hope you all have a great summer break.  Have a great holiday if you are going away anywhere or enjoy relaxing at home if that’s the plan.

Well done to everyone for their hard work this year, for their participation in all of our brilliant after school clubs, for the fabulous drama show, Grease, a great sports day and every other achievement throughout the session.

A personal thank you to all of the members of the pupil council who have done such a brilliant job this year.  I tried to get you all together for one more meeting but it proved impossible to get you all in one place together, with sports days, trips, P7 graduation and classes off to the park!  I will speak to you all on your return in August as we look for a smooth transition over to the new council (of course some of you may well be re-elected).

Farewell to our P7s.  I wish you the best of luck for your move to high school, and you know you can always contact me through the blog or via email to let me know how you’re doing or if you need me to help you with anything.  You’ve been a great P7 year group and you will be missed.

Have a brilliant summer everyone and I’ll see those of you coming back to Hallside on the 14th August!

Staff/Parents v Pupils

Well done to all of the pupils, staff and parents who played in the Staff/Parents v Pupils football challenge today.  Four epic matches ended with a victory for the adults (again!).

Thank you to all the adult ‘volunteers’ who took part in the 2 hour football marathon.  I hope you had as much fun as I did!

Football Success for Drumsagard

Austin Sime, P5b and Andrew Rushbury, with trophies awarded when they travelled with their football team, Drumsagard Boys Club, to play in a tournament in Holland.  They also have a pennant, like the ones that their team gave to the opposition, and a ribbon given to them by their opposing players.

Well done Austin and Andrew.
