Here are Sophie Burns and Katie Grant pictured with their dancing trophies that they earned at their recent dance shows.  They had to successfuly complete the following dance styles: ballet, tap, modern, jazz, hip hop, disco and contemporary.

Definitely four 10s from the judges!

Well done to Rebecca McInroy in P6 who was a runner up in the Christmas Card design competition and her design features on the inside of the card sent out by our local MSP and MP.

Well done to Kira Quinn, Paul Sime and Cameron Duncan on achieving their Black Belts in Karate this week.  A lot of hard work and determination has paid off.  Well done.

Hollybelle McLaughlin, in P7, has qualified for the World (yes you read correctly, WORLD!!!) Irish Dancing Finals.  Well done.  I’ll keep you posted here on how she does.

Well done and thank you to everybody who sang at the switch on of the Halfway Christmas Lights this afternoon. You sang well and were perfectly on time (unlike the lights!!!).  Hallside were the only school to perform on the day, and just before the big switch on too, what an honour!
