School Improvement

All schools want to succeed and provide the best possible learning experiences for their children to allow them to reach their full potential.

Our School Improvement Plan for 2021-2023 continues to focus on the National Improvement Framework priorities;

  • Improvement in attainment, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
  • Closing the attainment gap between the most and least disadvantaged children.
  • Improvement in children’s and young people’s health and wellbeing.
  • Improvement in employ-ability skills and sustained positive school leaver destinations for all young people.

Schools must also provide an annual Standards and Quality Report as a record of progress in meeting these targets.  Our Standards and Quality Report for 2022-2023 outlines our many successes and achievements alongside our self-evaluation information and capacity for improvement.
