Troon Primary school is located at the heart of a vibrant coastal community and enjoys many benefits offered by its proximity to the beach, Fullarton Woods and the town centre amenities of Troon.

The school is part of the Marr Cluster which is comprised of five local primary schools and Marr College.  We have highly positive relationships with all our cluster schools and work collaboratively throughout the year.

This section of our website will provide you with useful information including our new Curriculum Rationale, our School Improvement Plan, Standards and Quality Report and our latest newsletters.

Our school was transformed following the completion of our new extension which opened in August 2017.

The £2 million project involved the demolition of the former stand-alone dining hall; construction of a double height hall and a single-storey building housing new changing facilities, a state of the art kitchen and improved accessibility.

As a school community, we can now come together for assemblies to share our learning and celebrate success and still have room to spare. The space also serves as our dining hall; a vibrant, social place where children can eat, meet and relax in bright, spacious surroundings.

After school, our new facilities continue to be enjoyed by children attending after-school activities and with public use in the evening, allowing the school to be enjoyed by the whole community.
