At Bargarran Primary School, we aim to help all pupils develop into successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens. As part of this process we seek to encourage and celebrate our pupil’s wider achievements. Wider achievements are successes that pupils have experienced out with the school curriculum such as developing a new skill, helping at home, progressing at a club or engaging with their local community.
Each month, pupils complete an entry in their wider achievement booklet and are given the opportunity to share these achievements with their class or at our wider achievement assemblies. These events help celebrate the success of our pupils alongside the patience, determination and skill that these wider achievements require. We also consider how these achievements are helping our pupils to develop skills for learning, life and work.
Our pupils continue to amaze us with their range of wider achievements!
