School Garden

School Garden

This year we have been making some improvements to our school garden.

We have gained our Royal Horticultural Society School Gardening Level 1 Award and have very recently had a visit from Keep Scotland Beautiful.  Keep up to date with new developments here!

This year we have successfully grown carrots, beans, peas, potatoes, spinach, kale, beetroot, courgettes, sunflowers, marigolds, sweet peas and cabbage.

We were lucky enough to secure funding from Bridgewater Housing Association which was use to purchase our polytunnel, planters, plants and seeds and other resources for our garden. The Spencer Group very kindly levelled and  prepared the ground work for our poly tunnel and erected it so we are now getting organised for next year.
