Parents & carers note that following a change in the communication process for positive Covid-19 cases in schools/nurseries, if your child is identified as a close contact of a positive case, contact tracers from NHS Test & Protect will be in touch with you directly with information.
Schools/nurseries will still be in contact to ask for children and young people to be collected but won’t be issuing close contact letters from NHS to parents/carers directly. Schools/nurseries will be kept informed and a wider community letter will be issued from the school/nursery.
On Thursday 1st April we finish school for the Spring Break. Start times remain the same, however there is an early finish on that day, which would usually be 2:30pm, however with our staggered finish times, this will be slightly different. Please see staggered times below:
Nursery Red & Yellow Groups – 9:00am – 2:30pm
Nursery Blue & Green Groups – 9:10am – 2:40pm (9:00am drop off still available at sandpit)
Please check our Twitter page @WhiteleesPS to access information regarding enrolment for nursery and P1 for session 2021 – 2022. Please share this information with your family/friends who it may be relevant to, this will ensure they do not miss deadlines for applications.
A quick reminder that Monday 16th November is an In Service Day and children should not attend school. School will re-open on Tuesday 17th November. Have a great long weekend everyone!
