It was time for tea today at Whitelees when Mrs Hunter hosted her monthly Tea Party for children who are working extremely hard and behaving well! It looks like everyone had a great time and enjoyed lots of goodies!
We will be having our special Burns Day assembly first thing (for school children and staff only).
Artist Steven Brown will be here after break to talk to the whole school about his work as part of our Scottish theme and we have a special Burns Day lunch organised with haggis, neeps and tatties, square sausage on a roll and our usual sandwiches and baked potatoes.
Children can wear a bit of tartan with their school uniform too.
We had our annual Elf Hunt today! The children had great fun looking for all our hidden elves. It was a very close competition but P2 just pipped P4/5 to the post! Well done P2 who found all 12 elves and our bonus elf Mrs Henderson!
Our knitting After School Club made fidget blankets and presented them to Mrs Boland from Abronhill Parish Church at our Christmas Service today to be distributed in the community.
