CHRISTMAS FAYRE
A message from the Parent Council
Remember our Christmas Fayre tomorrow from 10.00am until 12.00pm. Santa will be here and there will be lots of amazing crafts made by the children for sale! Not to mention our fabulous raffle and tombola amongst other stalls! Come along and join in the festive fun!
CHRISTMAS CARD ORDERS
Don’t forget to order your child’s Christmas Cards online. Today is the last day to place your order! Please send your money/cheque into school tomorrow to ensure your order is processed.

PERSONALISED CHRISTMAS CARDS
Our annual personalised Christmas Card artwork will be distributed to children today or tomorrow. There are a few changes to ordering this year.
Orders can only be placed online and MUST be completed by Monday 21st November 2016.
There are six easy steps to ordering online which are detailed on your child’s artwork.
Payment should be sent into the school by Tuesday 22nd November in your child’s polypocket or in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, class and reference number from their artwork for your order to be processed.
Orders will be delivered to the school and will not be released unless full payment has been received.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE – 26 NOVEMBER WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Our Christmas Fayre is fast approaching and the Parent Council would like to ask for your help! They are looking for toys your children may no longer play with or want for our toy stall. They are also looking for raffle and tombola prizes you may be able to donate. Please hand in to our office ladies.
They are also hoping for home baking for our home baking stall to be donated on the day of the Christmas Fayre. Please let them know via their email whiteleespc@gmail.com if you are able to donate baking on the day.

NEW PARENT COUNCIL TAB
We now have a new “Parent Council” tab on our website where you will find everything to do with our Parent Council including events and Newsletters. Please remember to check here regularly to keep up to date.
PARENT COUNCIL HALLOWEEN DISCO
Halloween disco
Our Parent Council are hosting their annual fancy dress disco on 27th October. Primary 1-3 disco will run from 6.30pm-7.30pm and Primary 4-7 will be from 7.45pm-9.00pm.
The cost of the disco will be £2 per child payable at the door on the night only and this will include a snack and a drink. There will be glow sticks and photos at the photo-booth to purchase on the night so children can bring a bit of extra money if they like. We would love as many parent helpers as possible to come along and support this event.

Entry and exit for all children will be through both the infant doors. Children must be collected by an adult.

Our Parent Council Newsletter is now available online. Please click on the “Parents” link above. You can access it through the “Parent Council” tab.
PARENT COUNCIL
We have had a very poor response to our letter regarding becoming a member of our Parent Council.
Any returns expressing an interest in being a member of our Parent Council should be returned to the school no later than Wednesday 14th September 2016.

Our recent Dig In Day was a marvellous success.
Thank you to everyone who came along to help refresh our Outdoor Learning area and playground. Pupils are already enjoying the newly painted and planted items.
Our anniversary tree to celebrate the school turning 40 years old this year.
Special thanks for donations from McConechy’s Tyre & Auto Centre, RG Tyres Cumbernauld, Brian Millar of SRUC, Spaceright, our Parent Council, staff, pupils and families for plants, roofing felt, tools and most of all your time, effort and hard work.
