We also had quite a few “It’s Good To Be Me!” pupils this week!

Darby brought in her dance exam certificates, well done Darby!

Another dancer, Emilie brought in her amazing street dance trophies!

Connor wowed us all with his amazing ball skills and Cara brought her Art and Design work to show us!

Well done everyone!!

Happy Birthday to all those who had a Birthday in the last week!

WHAT A WAY TO END THE WEEK!

What a way to end our Health Week, with the Smoothie Bike Challenge!

The challenge was to cycle hard enough for 45 seconds to make the blender work to make a smoothie!!!

We had 9 contestants and they gave it their all!!

Sadly there could only be one winner and Mrs Waddell came out on top!

Congratulations Mrs Waddell and well done to everyone else who took part!

What a great end to a fantastic Health Week!

HEALTH WEEK CONTINUES WITH OUR WALKING BUS!!!

What a start to the final day of our Health Week!

Our walking bus was very popular this morning!  We had lots of children and parents join us on our walk to school!  Spirits were very high!

Children were welcomed at the school with a healthy breakfast donated by Tesco and parents were welcomed with tea  and coffee!

By all accounts our walking bus was a HUGE success!  Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Tesco for donating our healthy breakfasts!

WHAT A GREAT START TO HEALTH WEEK!

What a great start to Health Week here at Whitelees!  Today all classes participated in “Save A Life Scotland” which had every child involved in learning how to give CPR.  Ask your child what vital skills they learned today!

A huge thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses who gave up their time to come and teach our children vital life saving skills and to all members of the Parent Council who also volunteered to come along and offer their support.  I’m sure you will agree it was a fantastic and invaluable learning opportunity for all our children!
