The official start date for Beat The Street is tomorrow and today we sent home all you need to play!
You must register the parent cards but please only register if you will be using it. If you wish to play Beat The Street regularly and need a second card please let us know and we will arrange for an extra card to be sent home with your child. Please make sure your card is registered to Whitelees Primary School and information on how to do this is in the pack sent home today.
Keep us up to date with photos on Twitter! A Primary school in Cumbernauld came second last year, let’s see if we can get ourselves on that leaderboard!
Good luck everyone and let’s get out beating the street!
What a great start to Health Week here at Whitelees! Today all classes participated in “Save A Life Scotland” which had every child involved in learning how to give CPR. Ask your child what vital skills they learned today!
A huge thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses who gave up their time to come and teach our children vital life saving skills and to all members of the Parent Council who also volunteered to come along and offer their support. I’m sure you will agree it was a fantastic and invaluable learning opportunity for all our children!
Check out our winners and Birthdays at assembly this week!
We had Confident Individuals and LOTS of weekly Class Dojo winners this week! We also had Emily who said “It’s Good To Be Me!” after winning dancer of the month at her dance school. Well done Emily and well done to all our certificate winners!
Check out our winners and Birthdays from this week’s assembly.
We had Confident Individuals, our weekly Class Dojo winners, our Birthdays and an “It’s Good To Be Me” pupil!
Malaika was our “It’s Good To Be Me” pupil this week. Malaika had her long hair cut and donated it to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer treatment! What a wonderful act of selflessness Malaika!
