We are pleased to announce a brand new service for parents to ensure communication between the school and yourselves is easier, more effective and efficient!
The children were given letters with more information last week. To run this system effectively we need to ensure we have up to date email addresses and mobile numbers for parents therefore the letter requested a return slip be completed and returned to the school by tomorrow, Friday 4th November.
Unfortunately we are still awaiting a large number of replies. Please be advised that once this system is in place this will be our main means of communication with parents. If you are not registered you may not receive vital correspondence from the school.
You can find the letter on our website under “correspondence” on the “Parents” tab.
We think this system will be a fantastic asset to our school and thank you once again for your continued support.
Our Christmas Fayre is fast approaching and the Parent Council would like to ask for your help! They are looking for toys your children may no longer play with or want for our toy stall. They are also looking for raffle and tombola prizes you may be able to donate. Please hand in to our office ladies.
They are also hoping for home baking for our home baking stall to be donated on the day of the Christmas Fayre. Please let them know via their email whiteleespc@gmail.comif you are able to donate baking on the day.
If you are able to help out at the Christmas Fayre please email the Parent Council on the email above.
As always your continued support is greatly appreciated.
The pupils had great fun at this week’s Halloween themed assembly.
There was all sorts of fun on offer including dooking for apples and trying Mrs Hunter’s Bean Boozled jelly beans!! What flavour will you get? Will it be nice or horrible?
We didn’t forget our weekly winners! This week we had our Successful Learners and weekly class Dojo winners! Congratulations to everyone!
Not forgetting our Birthdays! Happy Birthday to everyone who had a Birthday over the last two weeks! Everyone picked a Birthday card from the Birthday box. I wonder what surprise was inside?
Young Scot cards are due back tomorrow (Friday). We are still waiting for 15 applications to be returned.
Young Scot cards are required for high school as this is what the children will use as their dinner card so without this children will be unable to attend school dinners.
These are required to be sent to North Lanarkshire Council at the end of the day on Friday so please remember to return any outstanding forms tomorrow.
