What a way to end our Health Week, with the Smoothie Bike Challenge!
The challenge was to cycle hard enough for 45 seconds to make the blender work to make a smoothie!!!
We had 9 contestants and they gave it their all!!
Sadly there could only be one winner and Mrs Waddell came out on top!
Congratulations Mrs Waddell and well done to everyone else who took part!

It was so popular it’s back again starting 3rd May!

What a start to the final day of our Health Week!
Our walking bus was very popular this morning! We had lots of children and parents join us on our walk to school! Spirits were very high!
Children were welcomed at the school with a healthy breakfast donated by Tesco and parents were welcomed with tea and coffee!
By all accounts our walking bus was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Tesco for donating our healthy breakfasts!
Mrs Hunter hosted her monthly Tea Party today!
Well done to everyone who received an invitation! Doughnuts were the order of the day this month!!!
Please note that there will be a change to the school lunch menu next week due to the bank holiday on Monday.
We will be serving turkey meatballs on Wednesday instead of mince.

Health Week continues today with lots of fun activities! Children were involved in football, handball, an obstacle course, leaf and mud art, making mini gardens, mini workouts and relaxation to name but a few!
We should have lots of tired children tonight!
Day 2 of Health Week and we have lots going on!
The Dogs Trust are in today teaching the children all about dogs and how to look after them!
Our August intake of Primary 1’s even had the chance to join in!
