Just a reminder of the arrangements for the Thursday performance of the Nativity Lights, Camel, Action!
Children should return to school at 6.30pm and enter via their own doors. No uniform is required. Please DO NOT use the staff car park as this is required for staff helping at the show. No child will be dismissed at the end of the night without an adult to collect them or a letter informing us of any alternative arrangements.
Thank you for your continued co-operation and we look forward to welcoming you to our show.
Just a reminder that the remaining tickets for our Christmas show Lights, Camel, Action go on general sale tomorrow. They will be available from our office at 9.30am.
We are delighted to announce that we raised an amazing total of £4168.61 from our Christmas Fayre and personalised Christmas cards. This is a phenomenal amount and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fayre and to our Parent Council who worked tirelessly to make it an occasion to remember! As promised we will be making a donation of £350.00 to Children In Need.
Just a reminder that it’s our whole school pantomime tomorrow.
Children should wear school uniform and can “Christmas up” with a Santa hat or something similar. They will have break at the normal time and an early lunch (a full menu will be provided). They can bring a snack and a drink for the pantomime (in a disposable bag if possible).
The buses are expected to arrive back at the school at approximately 4.30pm. Please be reminded to refrain from parking at the layby outside the school to enable the buses to park on their return for the children to disembark safely. Children will be dismissed directly from their bus. Please refer to the letter issued last week with details of which bus your child’s class will be on.
As always you co-operation is greatly appreciated.
We are looking for ward to a fun filled afternoon and a great start to our Christmas festivities!
Our buses will be arriving back from the pantomime at approximately 4.30pm on Friday 1st December. We would respectfully ask that you refrain from parking at the layby outside the school to enable the buses to park on their return for the children to disembark safely.
As always your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
Over the next few weeks the children will be visiting Abronhill Library as part of our First Ministers Challenge. They will receive a tour of the library and have a story read to them. The library have issued registration cards so the children can join. If you wish your children to join the library can you fill out the registration card they will be issued with and return it to school as soon as possible? If your child is already a member there is no need to register again.
It was time for tea today when Mrs Hunter hosted her monthly tea party for children who have been working very hard over the last month! Well done to everyone who received an invitation!
It looks like everyone had a fantastic time with lots of treats!
