A reminder that we have a child with a SEVERE NUT ALLERGY – no nut products/products containing nuts should be brought into school. Your co-operation in this matter would be very much appreciated to allow all our children to remain safe during the school day.
It was time for tea today at Whitelees when Mrs Hunter hosted her monthly Tea Party for children who are working extremely hard and behaving well! It looks like everyone had a great time and enjoyed lots of goodies!
We will be having our special Burns Day assembly first thing (for school children and staff only).
Artist Steven Brown will be here after break to talk to the whole school about his work as part of our Scottish theme and we have a special Burns Day lunch organised with haggis, neeps and tatties, square sausage on a roll and our usual sandwiches and baked potatoes.
Children can wear a bit of tartan with their school uniform too.
There will be a change to the school lunch menu next week. For Burns Day on Thursday 25th January we will be serving scotch broth, haggis, neeps and tatties, square sausage on a roll and the usual sandwiches and baked potatoes.
