CELEBRATING SUCCESS

We celebrated success at our Halloween assembly today.

Congratulations to our weekly Class Dojo winners and Effective Contributors!  We are very proud of you all!

Well done to this week’s Extreme Readers!  You keep finding more fabulous places to read.  Keep it up!

Happy Birthday to everyone who had a Birthday between 13th and 26th October.  We hope you all had fun!

Well done also to our It’s Good To Be Me! pupils this week.  Keira and London won trophies for dancing and Holly won a medal for Taekwondo!  Fabulous work everyone!

Darcie won the Head Teacher’s Your Actions Make A Difference award this week for her caring attitude towards her peers and all children in the school.  Well done Darcie, keep up the good work!

POPPIES

Primary 7 will be selling poppies on behalf of the Royal British Legion over the next couple of weeks starting on Monday 29th October. Primary 7 pupils will visit the classes and children can bring in a donation to buy one. Your support is greatly appreciated.

IPAYIMPACT

Please note that Ipayimpact will be unavailable from 7.00pm tonight until 6.00am tomorrow if you need to top up for school meals.  Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

BREAKFAST CLUB

We are pleased to let you know that our Breakfast Club will continue to run with temporary cover until we can employ a permanent Breakfast Club Supervisor. Again please ensure children are not arriving before 8.15am as there will be no staff available to supervise. Many thanks for your understanding.

HALLOWEEN DISCO

Just a reminder about our Halloween Disco tomorrow night.

P1 – P3 6.30pm – 7.30pm
P4 – P7 7.45pm – 9.00pm.

Tickets cost £3 payable at the door on the night which includes a drink and snack.

Children should enter and exit via the infant doors and ALL children must be collected by an adult.

Glow sticks, photos and trick or treat bags will be available to purchase on the night if the children wish to bring extra money.

Congratulations to Naima, the winner of the Head Teacher’s Your Actions Make a Difference Award this week for respect and encouragement for others which was noted by adults especially Mrs Hunter! Well done Naima!

We had lots of success outside school to celebrate this week!  Connor made his Scout promise, Alysha won first place for dancing, Hannah did the five mile kilt walk for JMA, Kerr got his yellow belt in Taekwondo, James won player of the week, Kyle ran 5k and raised £257 and Nathanael passed his swimming level.  Well done everyone!  What busy bees you all are outside of school as well as inside!
