NURSERY APPLICATIONS
Enrolment for nursery applications for session 2022-2023 is now open.All children who will be 3 years of age before 1 March 2023 are entitled to 1140 hours statutory funding place during session August 2022/2023:Children who reach 3 years of age between 1 March 2022 and 16 August 2022 can take up their ELC placement from August 2022.Children reaching 3 years of age between 17 August 2022 and 28 February 2023 can take up their ELC placement the day after the child’s 3rd birthday.Due to Covid-19 applications have been updated to allow for online application. If we are your first choice provider please send applications to enquiries-at-whitelees@northlan.org.uk Please note that three choices must be provided on the application. Supporting paperwork can be sent as a photo attachment if you have no access to a scanning facility. You can use the link below to obtain a copy of your current council tax bill.Online Revenues and Benefits Services (northlanarkshire.gov.uk)If your child was on our waiting list for this session a new application would be required for August 2022.Closing date for applications is Friday 11th February 2022.
P1 ENROLMENT
Enrolment for primary 1 registration for session 2022-2023 is now open.Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2022 and 28 February 2023 should register for starting Primary 1 in August 2022.Due to Covid-19, applications have been updated to allow for online application. You can access all information and the online application using the following link:Primary school registration (P1) | North Lanarkshire CouncilThe completed application form and supporting paperwork should be emailed to the enquiries address of your catchment area school (list of email addresses is attached). Supporting paperwork can be sent as a photo attachment if you have no access to a scanning facility. Supporting paperwork MUST be the child’s birth certificate and a copy of your current Council Tax/utility bill. SCHOOL LUNCH MENU CHANGE
There will be a change to the school lunch menu on Monday 17th January 2022. We will be serving cheese toasties and diced potatoes instead of chicken curry.Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

There will be a couple of changes to our school lunch menu this week as follows:Wednesday – Pizza instead of CurryThursday – Hot Dogs instead of Sausage and MashAll other menu items will remain the same.Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
STAGGERED FINISHING TIMES!
A quick reminder that due to the ongoing Covid guidance we will still be operating our staggered timings and these will be as follows for Wednesday 22nd December only:P2/3, P3, P4, P4/5, P5 and P6 will be finishing at 2.20pm
P1, P1/2, P6/7 and P7 will be finishing at 2.25pm
Nursery will be finishing at 2.30pm
School will re-open on Monday 10th January 2022We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
CHRISTMAS PARTIES
Our Christmas parties will be held next week.
All parties will be held in the afternoon and as we have no changing facilities children should come to school dressed in their party clothes in the morning as we are unable to release children at lunchtime to go home and “glam up”.
Santa will be visiting the school with a gift for every child and he will be happy to have his picture taken with them (socially distanced of course). Look out for your copy coming home to you via Dojo!
