BEAT THE STREET!

Beat the Street 2

Unfortunately due to a problem with the distribution company we have not received all of the resources required for Beat The Street.  We were assured they would be received today but are still awaiting a further delivery.

Please accept our apologies that we are unable to participate on the launch day but this is outwith our control.

We will distribute the packs as soon as we receive them so that everyone can start taking part!  Please bear with us.

BEAT THE STREET

Beat the Street 2

We’re very excited to be participating in the up and coming Beat the Street scheme coming to North Lanarkshire.

During our Spring Break Beat Boxes were attached to lampposts in the North Lanarkshire area.  These will be used for this game which everyone can play!

Beat the Street starts on Wednesday 20th April 2016 and will continue for 6 weeks.  The race is on to see which School can gain the most players and the most points!

We are currently awaiting our resources which should be delivered today.  These will be distributed to the children as soon as we receive them with further information on how you can participate!

Let the competition begin!

PARENT COUNCIL FAMILY FUN NIGHT

Our Parent Council Family Fun Night will be held on Friday 29th April.  Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 19th April 2016.

Tickets cost £2 per adult and children are free but MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Please send the money for your tickets in your childs’ folder to the school office stating the number of tickets required and the exact number of children who will be accompanying each adult to help us ensure we stay within the health and safety guidelines for our hall capacity!

On the night you can bring your own bottle and snacks and there will be lots of fun activities on offer.

We look forward to celebrating the schools’ 40 years with you all!

Welcome to our Victorian School!

To round off their topic “The Victorians” Primary 2/3 and Primary 3 had a Victorian school day yesterday.

It was a very authentic day with two pretty strict Victorian Teachers!

The children were treated to  Victorian style lessons, class layout and materials!

We think they all enjoyed being a Victorian child for the day but think they’re glad to be modern day children again!

Thank you for your support with this once again!
