NURSERY APPLICATIONS

Applications for the 2024-2025 session of nursery will open on Tuesday 19th December 2023.

The Government funding start dates are where a child’s third birthday fall on or between:

  • 1 March 2024 and 31 August 2024 they will be eligible for funding from August 2024 (autumn term) occurring in that year.

  • 1 September and 31 December 2024 they will be eligible for funding from January 2025 (spring term) following their birthday.

  • 1 January and last day of February 2025 they will be eligible for funding from April 2025 (summer term) following their birthday.

Please complete the online application and send via email to your first choice provider.  If your first choice is Whitelees please send it to enquiries-at-whitelees@northlan.org.uk along with all supporting paperwork (birth certificate/passport and Council Tax bill).  Please ensure you have made three choices of provider.

If you don’t have a copy of your Council Tax bill you can register with the Council Tax portal and obtain a copy View and manage your council tax account online | North Lanarkshire Council

The closing date for applications is Friday 16th February 2024.  Applications received after this date will be processed as late applications.

SCHOOL LUNCH MENU CHANGE

SOLD OUT!

Tickets for our Thursday evening Christmas Nativity performance are now sold out.  

There are a few tickets left for the Wednesday afternoon performance and sale of these will close at the end of the day today.

PANTOMIME REMINDER

Our P4 – P7 children are looking forward to their trip to the pantomime tomorrow.  A quick reminder that they can bring a small snack and drink to enjoy during the performance and can wear a Christmas jumper or Christmas accessory with their uniform if they wish.  Children will return to school on time for lunch. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Breakfast Club Assistant will be unable to run our Breakfast Club provision. To ensure minimal disruption to our families and to avoid cancellation of the service, Breakfast Club will be taken by our Management Team in the short term until the Christmas break. We will keep you updated with the plans for provision after the Christmas break nearer the time. 
There will be a change in time and Breakfast Club will now start at the new time of 8:30am as of Wednesday 22nd November, not at 8:15am as previous. 
Please note, there is no access to the school building before 8:30am. To avoid incidents and accidents, all children attending Breakfast Club should be accompanied by an adult until entry to Breakfast Club at 8:30am – please ensure your child is not left unaccompanied.
