P7 Transition to High School

Paperwork for our Primary 7 transition to High School will be going home in bags tonight.

Please complete “Form PC3 Attachment” and return to the school by Friday 15th January 2015.

Enrolment for New Entrants

Enrolment for New Entrants for August 2016 will take place on

Monday 11th, Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th January 2016

from 1.30pm – 3.00pm

For children who attain the age of 5 years between 1st March 2016 and 29th February 2017

Parents concerned should contact their local school to confirm arrangements for registration

Birth certificates and proof of address must be produced

New Year Menu Change

Due to delivery schedules in the New Year there will be a change to the school lunch menu 6th, 7th and 8th January.

Christmas Holidays!

School closes on Tuesday 22nd December at 2.30pm for Christmas and re-opens at 9.00am on Wednesday 6th January 2016.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the children, parents and staff for all their cards, gifts and messages over the past few weeks.

After 12 amazing years at Whitelees it’s time for a new challenge, it goes without saying how much I will miss everyone. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the absolute pleasure of teaching your children and for your support over the years.

I know that Whitelees will continue to go from strength to strength and I will always be checking to see what amazing things you’re all doing.

Thank you and I will miss you all.

Non Uniform Day

As it’s our last day before the Christmas holidays Tuesday 22nd December will be a free non uniform day!

Christmas Show Thursday Evening

Children should return to school for the Christmas Show this evening no earlier than 6.30pm.

They do not need to come in school uniform.

Used Stamps Appeal

Our Waste Council are collecting used stamps this December for the RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind). The used stamps are sold to raise money for the condition Macular Degeneration which affects the eyesight of many elderly people.
