We hope everyone has a fabulous holiday weekend. School starts back at 9.00am on Tuesday 31st May 2016.
Remember it’s our Primary 7 Carnival tomorrow! It’s dress down day too, children can come out of uniform and bring £1 each!
Due to the bank holiday on Monday 30th May there will be a change to the lunch menu on Thursday 2nd June. Chicken burger (without a bun) will be offered with mash and beans instead of link sausages. Apologies for this change however, we are unable to organise a delivery from our butcher due to the holiday.

We will be having a non uniform day on Thursday 26th May to kick off our holiday weekend! Children should bring £1 each.

Flapjack Friday is back!! Primary 7 will be selling homemade flapjacks before playtime each Friday beginning Friday 20th May 2016. Each flapjack will cost 50p. On Thursday 26th May Primary 7 will also be hosting a fundraising Carnival Day. Each class will be given a time slot to visit. Primary 1 – 3 are asked to pay a £1 flat fee to participate in all of the activities. Primary 4 – 6 can choose and pay per game. Each game will cost between 20p and 50p each. Once again many thanks for your continued support.

Whitelees will be used as a polling station for the EU Referendum on Thursday 23rd June 2016. This day will be treated as an additional In Service Day therefore children should not attend. Letters distributed today.
As you will be aware our annual Dig In Day takes place tomorrow from 10.00am – 12.00pm We would love as many children and adults as possible to come along and help us make our outdoor learning space a fantastic resource for our school. All children must be accompanied by an adult. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible tomorrow, I believe the weather has to be dry and a little sunny, perfect gardening weather!
