Scottish Wars of Independence Art Day
Primary 4/3 enjoyed a full day of artwork for their Interdisciplinary topic on the Wars of Independence!
All the children had a choice of making a sword, castle or shield! It was a fabulous day where
children could use any paints, colours, and materials they wished.
Wallace and Bruce
As part of our ‘Wallace and Bruce’ topic, Primary 4 and Primary 4/3 have been learning why castles were so important back in the 13th century.
We became very interested in castles and researched and discussed the different parts.
We designed our own castles last week, and this week we made our designs a reality with cereal boxes and cardboard tubes.
We had a fantastic time, and enjoyed helping one another to complete them.
Super stars.
Our super stars this week for kindness and super learning. Well done.
World Book Day
Primary 2 Romans
Primary 2 learned about the different people they could have been and jobs they could have had in the Roman Empire!
Nursery football
We had super fun at football training this morning with Clyde FC. We were learning to follow directions and control a football. We were super strikers and scored some great goals.
Primary 3/2
We are building the Antonine Wall which had a stone base and was finished off with turf. Watch this space for the finished product.
