Uniform

In St Michael’s we are very proud of the support shown by parents to our formal uniform, which contributes greatly to the manners and attitudes of the children of St Michael’s.

The wearing of a uniform assists considerably in developing self-discipline as well as fostering a spirit of unity and pride in the school. Children should come to school dressed in a clean and tidy fashion in the following colours:

Boys

  • Brown Trousers
  • Formal White Shirt (no polo shirts)
  • School Tie
  • Brown Jumper
  • School Shoes

Girls

  • Brown Skirt, Brown Pinafore or Brown Trousers
  • Formal White Shirt (no polo shirts)
  • School Tie
  • School Shoes
  • Brown Cardigan or Jumper
  • In addition, girls may wear a green school summer dress during better weather.

School PE Kit

We have a school P.E. Kit which consists of:

  • Green Shorts
  • Green T-shirt
  • Plimsolls or Trainers

It is advisable for reasons of safety that shorts, t-shirts and gym shoes are worn for P.E. Children may not wear club football strips for any school activities such as P.E. or after school clubs.  Jewellery should not be worn on Gym Days.

Soft shoes – children will be required to change their shoes.  Indoor shoes should be left in school.

The school uniform policy remains unchanged.  All uniform can be ordered from our new supplier Logoxpres.  You can order online, by visiting www.logoxpres-schoolwear.co.uk.

However, we are aware that some families have been under financial hardship due to the Covid and Cost of Living crisis. Therefore if your barrier to uniform is a financial one, please get in touch with Mrs Greechan and the school will assist.
