Primary 6a have began making their gowns for their lawyers. The lawyers and witnesses started working on their stories and questions they would ask about the case. The court artists produced art work of the main characters from the case.

Duncarron Medieval Village
Primary 6 had a great day at Duncarron Medieval Village for their school trip. They loved finding out new information about the Jacobites and trying out some of their weapons!
Colour, Symbol, Image
Primary 6b used ‘Colour, Symbol and Image’ thinking routine to explore the recent Notre Dame Cathedral fire after discussing who needs prayers during Holy Week.
Netball
Primary 6a enjoyed their Netball taster session today!
World Book Day
Primary 2/1 and Primary 6b celebrated World Book Day by reading stories to each other.

Primary 6b enjoyed their taster session of netball.
Primary 5/4 also had a great time learning how to play netball.
Sumdog and Team Teaching
Primary 6b worked collaboratively with Primary 2/1 on Sumdog. The children have received their usernames and passwords to allow them access at home. Please check their homework folders.
Making Thinking Visible
Primary 6b are developing their Making Thinking Visible routines through their Jacobite IDL topic.
This week in Primary 6a
Primary 6a have been reading poetry and sharing their favourite poems with the peers.
They have been working on developing their counter balance skills with a partner and in small groups as part of their gymnastics.
The children had a fantastic time making their own version of Jacobite weapons.
Celebrating Success
This week’s Star Writers and Star Pupils.
These four children from Primary 6 and 7 took part in the Cross Country trials at Ravenswood and ran really well. We are proud of you! One of our Primary 6 boys came first throughout the whole authority and the girls were placed in the first sixty Primary 7 girls. See you at the finals!
