We have been working hard to improve our fitness this week and develop our Netball skills.

We have been working hard on our topic this week. We researched important facts about earthquakes and used this to compile excellent newspaper articles reporting a recent ‘earthquake’. 😃

Using playing cards to work on our timestables recall. Two of us had a card on our forehead, a third person said the answer, and those with the cards had to work out which card was on our head!

We have been exploring a variety of Articles within the UNCRC. We used a variety of relevant Articles to compile our Class Charter. We understand that these are universal entitlements for all children and can identify our own responsibility to make sure our classmates enjoy these rights.

We have been using a variety of Making Thinking Visible strategies to explore the characters, main events and key themes within our novel “Wonder”. We especially enjoy debating some of these through a “tug of war”, where listening to the views of our classmates can often influence us to change our minds!

We are thoroughly enjoying learning about a variety of Natural Disasters through our Social Studies topic. We have completed a variety of research about the difference between natural and man made disasters and used our facts to write super Explanations.
