This Week in Primary 3
Primary 3 had a lovely time visiting Moodiesburn Library and listening to some great stories.
They discussed a baby’s milestones and explored how to keep a baby safe at home.
They designed and created their own Roman shield.
They also had fun using Sumdog!
Mosaics
Primary 3/2 made Roman mosaics designs on the i-Pads.
Roots of Empathy
Primary 3 had another visit from our Roots of Empathy baby who has learned to roll over since her last visit.
Making Mosaics
Primary 3/2 have been working hard to create their own mosaics.
Fun in the Frost
Primary 3 and Primary 3/2 enjoyed getting outside to paint some images from their Romans topic in the frost.

Number Talks
Some of Primary 3 from Primary 3/2 were able to use their Number Talk multiplication strategies to work out some SEAL word problems.
Working Hard
Primary 3/2 have been working hard on using their phonemes in dictation tasks. They have been developing their problem solving skills for multiplication using SEAL arrays and Number Talk strategies. Other children have been learning to sequence numbers using SEAL activities.
Writing Day
Primary 3/2 are working hard on differentiated writing tasks.
