It’s  World Book Day! Here we are enjoying our books and learning new things.

We are improving  our typing skills and our internet skills. We typed  our work on the Roman Empire in 100 AD. We also learned how to research a map for the Roman Empire and inserted it into our report. How great are we?

Primary 3 were learning all about balance during PE today. They worked with partners to create some interesting balances.

Primary 3 had a lovely day on retreat, preparing for the sacrament of Reconciliation.

Primary 4/3 had a lovely day on Monday as they celebrated the Year of the Rooster for Chinese New Year!

They had a lovely buffet in class trying fried rice, noodles, juice and prawn crackers.

The children talked about how the Chinese spring clean their houses to ward off bad luck.  All of the children sighed and mentioned how they dislike when their mums do spring cleaning and they have to move out of their rooms!

Primary 3 Roman soldiers were in the playground today, practising the Tortoise Formation.

First Reconciliation meeting will be held on Wednesday, 18th January at 6.30 pm for parents of Primary 3 children who will be making the Sacrament.

Our Primary 3 and 4 children will begin preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Both year groups have the opportunity to go on a retreat to Holy Family Parish Centre, Mossend as part of their preparation.
