Den Making
These children enjoyed making a den at Stay, Play and Learn this week.
Halloween Parade
Well done to our Nursery and Infant Department for their fantastic retelling of the Funnybones story as part of their Halloween Parade this week.
Learning about Subtraction
Primary 3/2 started working on subtraction today using lots of practical materials.
Landscapes
Primary 3/2 created landscape paintings inspired by Moana. They mixed their own colours using only blue, white and yellow.
Creating Patterns
Primary 3/2 and Primary 3 enjoyed making patterns with chalk.
Local Walk
Primary 2, Primary 3/2 and Primary 3 enjoyed a walk around the local area studying the different types of houses.
Map Making
Primary 2 designed their own maps, using the Isle of Sturay for inspiration.
They also enjoyed their time down in the forest building huts for Moana.
Outdoor Learning
Primary 3 and Primary 3/2 enjoyed making these rafts and shelters inspired by Moana. They enjoyed sharing their creations with their peers.
