Parents’ Evening

Mrs Stevenson will be holding her Parents’ Evening on Wednesday 22nd November and Wednesday 29th November between the time slots of 3.10-4.30pm.

The Parent Interviews will be held in the Agency Room within the school and each appointment will last 7 minutes.  However, in order to offer you a further opportunity to look at your child’s work the classroom will be opened.  Please ask your child to show you around the class and explain all the exciting things that they have been learning.

Please indicate replying to the email sent to the email address you supplied us with at the beginning of the school year.  I would be very grateful if you could reply to this email as soon as possible as this gives us time to make appointments.

This Friday, 6th October, Primary 2 are planning on having an Outdoor Learning Day.  Children should come to school in their own old clothes, suitable for being outside all day.  If they have a pair of wellies these would be great but if not the school can provide some.

We are having fun making a Roman bath, servant’s quarters,kitchens, bedroom and garden in our Roman villa.

Primary 2 learned all about food that Romans would eat. We even had a go at making our own Roman honey cakes. They were delicious!

It’s  World Book Day! Here we are enjoying our books and learning new things.

We are improving  our typing skills and our internet skills. We typed  our work on the Roman Empire in 100 AD. We also learned how to research a map for the Roman Empire and inserted it into our report. How great are we?
