Tomorrow is Ascension Thursday, a holy day of obligation. Mass will be held in school at 11 am. Parents and carers are welcome to join us.

Celebrating Success
Today at assembly, we had a few visitors. Michael from Mary’s Meals and Catherine from SCIAF came into school to each collect a cheque from our Lenten Fundraising for their charities.
Tony from Beat the Street came in also to explain how the scheme works and how to use our fobs to record how active we are.
Lana Jayne from Primary 1, made her Rainbow Promise this week and she shared her news today at assembly.
Primary 1 Transition
Today our new Primary 1 children had the opportunity to meet their new teacher and have lunch from the Dinner Hall. They all had a great day in their classroom and enjoyed taking part in activities about the Hungry Caterpillar.
We look forward to seeing them again on Wednesday, 14th June at 1.15 pm.
Pupil Achievement
Malawi Football Festival
Well done to our Primary 6 and 7 boys who took part in the Malawi Football Festival at Ravenscraig on Friday. They were a credit to our school!
Terrific Scientific – Trees
Primary 5 have been learning all about trees and how to measure the carbon they produce.
Summerlee
Our Primary 1 children visited Summerlee Heritage Centre where they had the opportunity to experience what it was like for children in a Victorian School. They got to dress up, play Victorian playground games, explore the exhibitions and play in the park. a great day was had by all!
Transition Preparation
On Friday, our Primary 6 children began preparing for our new Primary 1 intake visiting the school this week as part of their Transition to St Michael’s School.
They are really excited about being Buddies next year and can’t wait to meet their Buddy at the second Transition Day in June.
Nursery Graduation News
Due to circumstances outwith our control it has been necessary to change the date of our Graduation.
NURSERY GRADUATION WILL NOW TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY 23rd JUNE AT 1.30 P.M.

Some of our Primary 6’s had the opportunity to go down to the Nursery today to meet some of the children who will be joining us next year as our new Primary 1.
