Target Setting Together
Primary 7 spent the afternoon with their Primary 1 buddies helping them fill out their Learning Logs.
Outdoor Learning and Recount Writing
Today, Primary 2 we explored our school to investigate the different types of trees we could identify in our school grounds. They gathered a variety of leaves, grouped them then used a leaf identification sheet to decide what trees we have in our school.
They also worked hard on retelling the first part of the story Katie Morag Delivers the Mail. They have been working hard to make sure they include ‘who, where, when and what happened’ in their recounts.
Music
Primary 7/6 have enjoyed using the glockenspiels in music this week.
Hard at Work
Primary 3/2 are working hard in class and enjoying the outdoors.
Learning is Fun
Primary 1b have been working hard on developing their fine motor skills and their knowledge of sounds and numbers. They have settled in well to the routines of school.
Exploring New Things
What a fantastic week Primary 1a have had! The children have been absolute superstars and their teacher is delighted with the effort, independence and enthusiasm they’ve shown.
They have explored numbers 9 and 10 with our new friends Nina Nine and Tina Ten, and learned two new sounds: n and p. Their weather topic is growing beautifully and the class enjoyed their first outdoor learning day, using loose parts to build numbers and letters, and using their brilliant focusing and investigating skills to discover creatures in our forest area.
Starstruck Musical Theatre Workshop
Primary 6/5 were lucky enough to take part in a fantastic workshop from Victoria at Starstruck Musical Theatre School.
Fashion Fixers
Primary 5 are exploring our Global Goal and learning how to become ‘Fashion Fixers’
P.E. Outdoors
Primary 7 enjoyed doing their PE outside, participating in a range of games, football, and dancing.🕺👏🏻
