Chinese New Year
Primary 1 learned all about the Story of the Chinese New Year and how the animals were chosen. They even made lanterns to celebrate.

School Updates
Our Nurture Room is now fully up and running again after being rewired. Our drop in sessions on Wednesdays and Stay and Play on Fridays with Barnardos will return to normal.

The Parent Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, 6th Feb at 6.30 pm in the school. New parents are welcome.
Sharing the Learning
Our staff are sharing good practice again through peer visits in the areas of Numeracy.
Library Visits
Our Nursery morning children visited also visited the library. They enjoyed listening to stories and choosing their own books.

Primary 1 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Moodiesburn Library where they listened to stories and explored books.
Ecosystems
Primary 5 loved learning about ecosystems and food chains today.

Primary 2/1 enjoyed their visit to Moodiesburn Library, exploring the different variety of books the library had to offer.
Coffee House
Our first group of Primary 7 pupils did a fantastic job whilst undertaking their work experience at the Coffee House. Thank you to all the lovely staff for their kindness and support. We will be there every Friday morning in February and would love if you could come and support the children as they get the chance to participate in the world of work.
