Primary 1 and Primary 2/1 had a lovely afternoon celebrating Burns’ Day. They enjoyed Scottish dancing, music, tasted some Irn Bru and shortbread. They even watched some good old fashioned Singing Kettle…altogether now… ‘Ye cannae shove yer Granny aff the bus!’
Our Morning Nursery children are enjoying being back in our lovely Nursery.
Primary 5 are working in partners to find the meaning of their Burns poem ‘John Anderson, My Jo.@
Some of Primary 3 from Primary 3/2 were able to use their Number Talk multiplication strategies to work out some SEAL word problems.
Primary 6b enjoyed using Kahoot on the the i-Pads to demonstrate their understanding of similes and metaphors.
Primary 2/1 are developing a good understanding of their number bonds.
Primary 3/2 have been working hard on using their phonemes in dictation tasks. They have been developing their problem solving skills for multiplication using SEAL arrays and Number Talk strategies. Other children have been learning to sequence numbers using SEAL activities.
Primary 5 learned lots at the Science Centre about their new science topic, ‘Clyde in the Classroom’.
