e are reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for your pupils to be part of a major new creative project right on your doorstep.

SJS Productions, in partnership with Jazzart Charitable Trust, North Lanarkshire Council, and South Lanarkshire Culture and Events, is launching the casting search for Caledonia High—a brand-new, original musical written and composed in Scotland.

Think High School Musical meets Braveheart—it’s an energetic, modern story set in a Scottish performing arts school, celebrating adolescent adventures, fierce rivalries, and big dreams.

We are looking for passionate young singers, dancers, and actors from your school to audition for both ensemble and principal roles. No prior professional experience is required; we are simply looking for raw talent, energy, and a desire to perform.

Audition Age Groups:

• Junior Ensemble: Ages 9 years+
• Senior Ensemble: Ages 11 years+
• Principal Roles: Ages 14 years+

Dates & Locations:

• Sunday, June 28th: The Village Theatre, East Kilbride
• Monday, June 29th: Airdrie Town Hall

We would be incredibly grateful if you could share the attached noticeboard flyer with your pupils, include it in your school newsletter, or highlight it to your drama, dance, and music classes.

Our friends from Tesco donated fruit and water for our Checo week activities. Many thanks to them and to Mrs Hutchison and friends for collecting them for our school! 🍎 🍊 🌟

Mrs Caggiano’s cooking club made delicious pizza this week! We have been developing and learning lots of new skills and love tasting our creations. ⭐️

Primary 1 had a fantastic day at The Five Sisters Zoo yesterday! ☀️ We loved seeing all the animals and helping to sort the brown bear snacks.

Well done to our stars of the week ⭐️

Primary 2 had a wonderful day at the zoo. We were so excited to see all the animals and even got to make a snack for the brown bears in our workshop! 🍏🥬🫑

We finished off the day with a play in the park with our friends. 🛝 ☀️
