Another wonderful personal achievement from a talented dancer at St Bart’s!
Very well done from all of your friends at St Bartholomew’s Primary…

A big thank you to our parents and carers who have been incredibly supportive of our new playground arrangements. Your support is very much appreciated.

Another huge thank you to our  Parent Council, who organised a fabulous Halloween disco for all of our pupils. Both the infant disco and middle/ upper school disco were very well attended, children behaved impeccably and everyone had fun. What a success!Check out our twitter page to see the children in action…Thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to come along and supervise the children, as always, this is is very much appreciated.
I attended the sacramental enrolment mass  on Sunday, alongside a number of our teaching staff and we were very impressed with the great turnover from our families. It was lovely to see our Faith Community gathered together.This commitment to developing the faith of our pupils is a wonderful early sign. Long may it continue. Fr O’Kane will be giving out cards next week so that he gets to know as many of our wonderful boys and girls as possible.

Thank you for the generosity of some of our parents and children who have made donations towards our sponsored walk. Could I respectfully ask that pupils continue to hand in donations to Mrs Dunn and Mrs Clare in our  school office. Thank you in advance for your support with this important matter as all donations make such a difference to keeping costs down so that school trips continue to be very affordable. All donations, however large or small are greatly appreciated.

The week ahead looks like this;

On Wednesday,  I will be meeting Ronnie Buick from NLC, who is leading the Windows upgrade, within our IT systems. I look forward to welcoming Ronnie and I know that he will be incredibly impressed by our fabulous pupils.

On Thursday, Ms Kinniburgh, our link Education Psychologist will be visiting us today. Ms Kinniburgh will be meeting with a number of parents in order to discuss pupils’ individual needs. Sally Wilkinson will  be working with our Primary 5 pupils today so that they experience the Kodaly music initiative. Have fun boys and girls!

On Friday, our whole school will attend mass at St Bartholomew’s Church in order to gather as a community to celebrate the feast of  All Saints. This is a  holiday of obligation. All parents/ carers and families are welcome to join us at 10am mass. We look forward to seeing you then. As always, we will hold our weekly assembly today.
