What’s on at Stane – Monday 8th to Friday 12th Jan 2018

Happy New Year!

School and nursery re-open to pupils and staff on Monday 8th January 2018 for Term 3.

This week’s lunch menu is week 1, but please note there will be no cold meat fillings for Snack2Go on Monday 8th Jan as the delivery will not arrive in time.

Where the menu states ‘peas’, this will be substituted with sweetcorn or salad.

  • 12.45pm-1.15pm:  P5-7 Coding Club with Mr. Watson starts today.  Any children interested may attend.
  • 3pm-4pm:  P5-7 After School Football with Mr. McKenna (PE Kit and Water required).

Tuesday 28th November 2017

  • 1pm-3pm:  Growing Together, Learning Forever Family Learning Group with Siobhan from CLD.

Wednesday 29th November 2017

  • 9am-12pm:  P7 Transition Visit to Calderhead High School.
  • 9.30am-10.15am:  Celebrating Success Assembly
  • 12.30pm-12.50pm:  Pupil Choir Lunchtime Club with Miss Tiffney and Mr. Watson.
  • 1.30pm-2.30pm:  P5/6 and P7 RME with Jonathan.
  • 2pm-3pm:  Mr. Cowan, Bagpipe Tutor, in school.
  • 3pm-4pm:  Family Learning After School Club with Siobhan Devine and Mrs. Linfoot.
  • 3pm-4pm:  P1-3 Storytelling After School Club with Mrs Scott.
  • 3pm-4pm:  P3-5 Multisports After School Club with Active School Coaches (PE Kit and Water required).
  • 3pm-4pm:  P6 Enterprise After School Club with Miss Tiffney, Mr. O’Donnell and Mrs. Robert.

Thursday 30th November 2017

  • 9.30am-10.30am:  P5/6 St. Andrew’s Day Assembly – Parents/Carers invited to attend.  Tea/Coffee served from 9am.
  • 3pm-4pm:  P1-3 Basketball After School Club (PE Kit and Water required).  Please note this club has changed from Rugby to Basketball.
  • 3pm-4pm:  P5-7 Cross Country Running Club will not take place this week.

Friday 1st December 2017

  • 11am-11.45am:  Singing Assembly
  • 2pm-2.15pm:  Extra Playtime for pupils achieving Silver and Gold.
  • 2.15pm-2.45pm:  Golden Time

Saturday 2nd December 2017

  • Chistmas Fayre (11am-1pm).

A reminder that due to allergies, peas are replaced with sweetcorn or salad.  On Wednesday, the red band option will be Quorn style bolognaise and not chicken tikka.

Work Experience Pupils

We will welcome St. Aidan’s HS pupils, Miss Reynolds and Miss Dunn, to Stane Primary this week as part of their S4 Work Experience.
