We offer various options for Primary 1-7 children who wish to have lunch in school:
- A cafeteria lunch
- Bring a packed lunch from home.
School meals are currently priced at £3.10 for a two-course meal. There are no longer snack to go forms but sandwiches are still available
Free School Meals
All children in Primary 1-5 are entitled to a free school meal. Parents of children in Primary 6-7 who may be entitled to a free school meal should apply directly to North Lanarkshire Council.
Pre-ordering
Children select their lunch choice, including starter or desert during morning registration.
Children should know their choice for lunch when they come to school each day and the class teacher will make a note of this every morning to pre-order.
We operate a daily rota system for lunch, ensuring each class has a turn at being first for lunch.
Two Sittings
We operate two sittings during lunchtime. Four classes come to the dining hall at 12.30pm. Three classes go out to the playground from 12.30pm-12.45pm and come for second-sitting lunch at 12.45pm.
